Joining the trees...

As a Wireless Internet Service Provider we are always looking for ways to help our customers get a Windcast Broadband Internet Connection. Although some installations are easy most provide some challenges. The biggest challenge in North Central Ohio are the trees. We have had to tell customers that they need a tower installed to beat the trees that are blocking our signal.

We had one customer though, that did not want to build a 70foot tower to beat his trees. He decided to use one of his fairly straight and tall pine trees in his front yard to use as his "tower". With the help of a friendly area tree trimming service and Windcast Broadband install technicians, we were able to provide him with service.

The place this was installed is just outside of Milan, Ohio. The home was built in the early 1800's and actually was a boyhood stumping ground of Thomas Edison. Wonder what he would think of the technology?

We also managed to get a few UFO photos during the install <Click Here to view>

UFO Photos... Not really - we know they were birds but since we did not know what type... Guess that makes them Unidentified Flying Objects right :-)
